The Crazoids is the Pop/Rock moniker of singer/songwriter and multimedia producer Jay Moxham (founder of the Japetus project). Originally conceived in the early 1980s as a reflection on the quirks of humanity approaching the digital age, these tracks have been fully realised in 2025 using modern AI production tools.

The collection is released here across three albums: Hype (the updated 80s catalogue), Surreal (more recent pop songs) and It's Only Me (folky tracks).

The Atmosphere song was originally written in 1987 during the Cold War but the song became obsolete in 1989 when the Berlin Wall fell. After 40 years it has found a new context with the current Polycrisis that we all face with wars, pollution, resources, nationalism, refugees, pandemics, technology, financial and climate collapse.
