Backstory
I think the song originated up late watching an old black & white movie on TV. I don't remember what it was about but the very last scene was somewhere like the The Champs-Élysées in Paris & some people were driving away in the back of an open car in the words “the whole world is watching… the whole world is watching" just kept repeating as it faded to black. This was a difficult song to craft in Suno from my original 1981 demo. This is actually version 36 before I created the one I wanted!!

In department stores I hide behind displays And dodge electric doors With ultrasonic rays. I'm on TV (Look Ma!! See me wave!!?) Engrossed by our every move. I always used to think it was just paranoia. But now I know! It's all... too real. Some laugh and say it's science fiction (Yeah... huh) You can't put a lens in every room (Yeah... sure...) Besides, it's only a prediction (Yeah... right) Just like putting men onto the moon.
